We hadn’t bought a car ever from a showroom and not bought a car for over 9 years! Lewis from Rugby was polite and so knowledgeable when we wanted to know about a small SUV and showed us the models available in the showroom. There was no ‘hard sell’ from Lewis and after having a test drive we decided to go ahead and make a purchase. We were also pleasantly surprised when they offered to take our 16 year old car in a part-exchange. All the paperwork (including the form V5 and car tax) that had to be done was explained and carried out quickly and efficiently. When we collected the car Lewis was very patient and took his time to explain and show us all the controls in the car. Lewis, Chris and all of the team are really friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable team. My husband and I went to have a look at a car. I had a look at reviews before hand and what appealed for me to visit was the reoccurring comment about no pressure selling. I am pleased to announce it was true, met Lewis who was incredibly knowledgeable about the car, talked through all the settings. We went to pick up the next week, all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Car was very clean, Lewis made sure we were happy with everything and off we went. What I did like was they included floor mats as well, in the past I have picked up brand new cars and they haven’t included them. Thank you again. ~ Sarah E

I have recently part exchanged my car at Great Central. This is the first time that I have done this and was anticipating it to be very stressful. It wasn't at all! The sales team, especially Lewis, who I mainly dealt with, were fantastic and very friendly. Lewis very clearly explained the whole process that would be involved with buying and selling a car, most of which he either did for me or helped and advised me with. Lewis was also excellent in clearly explaining all the features of my new car. The service department, especially Andrea and Manny (sorry if the spelling is not correct), were also brilliant in transferring my service plan - adjusting it to my needs and making the whole process easy. Katie ward was the rep I had the pleasure of dealing with, she was amazing! Took my unique situation on board and STILL managed to find a happy outcome for all involved!, there was Mark as well, who chimed in and helped out where needed, whilst waiting for the decision there was small talk, good old fashioned customer service, got to know me and made me feel like I was valued, i could not rate the two people high enough! We had the most wonderful experience in buying a pre-loved Vauxhall Mokka X. From the very first moment we registered our interest, Iain Earles went the extra mile to make sure that we know every detail, including the ones not on the ad. Loved the video (our families live abroad and they could see a video of the car as well), loved the prompt responses, and loved the very easy transaction as we needed it to be online only. We knew what we wanted (we had the same car, albeit called Holden Tax where we lived before) and they knew how to provide it. Friendly service, seamless process! We've been dealing with the staff (previously Brandish) since 2010! Chris and his team are fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, and honest; they give you what you need and can afford, rather than what they want you to buy. This is the first time we're buying an electric car, and Lewis was patient and clear in showing us the features of the car whilst on a test drive. Finance options were good, the process was clear, seamless, and professional. Changing cars is always an enjoyable experience with them. Lots of visits this year for both our cars. MOTs, repairs and services. The last time was for its MOT 30/7/25. Love the online details....the video and notes that they sent via a link. As always the staff, special mention to Andrea again, go above and and beyond. They don't make you feel stupid about not knowing much about cars. You are treated with respect and they explain everything. Car was in for a service. Very polite and helpful staff, special mention to Andrea on the day I was there. Waiting area is great, has free WiFi, and hot drinks are provided. Taxis are ordered if needed. There's a TV too. It may be a little more expensive for repairs, but staff are clearly knowledgeable. They always offer honest advice about which repairs are needed to be done sooner rather than later. It's always very busy there, which is always a good sign of a decent garage. Car is always given a bit of a clean before it's brought round, and it's driven right round to the door for you😊 ~ Tracey P

The service from this Vauxhall is great, whether it is customer service, or standard MOT/servicing to your car I have never had an issue, I purchased my car here back in 2019 and even received curtesy calls over the years to see how the car is. After my three years of not needed an MOT and continuously having my service here during that period. I decided to extend my programme with great central for another 4 years due to the service they provide. They even washed my car this year after its service and MOT which I did not expect. Very pleased with my experience at Great Central Vauxhall. Popped in to look at a couple of vehicles we had seen online and was greeted by Lewis who was very helpful and arranged a test drive. I sat down and discussed a deal for part exchanging my car against my chosen vehicle and there was no hard sell it was all very relaxed and very positive. I had a fantastic experience with Great Central Auto after the ABS light came on in my Ford Kuga. The booking process was incredibly simple, and I was kept well-informed with regular updates throughout the repair. The team goes above and beyond—they even messaged me to let me know they’d found a screw in my tyre and repaired it for me. Excellent Customer Service Excellent customer service received from initial enquiry of vehicle. On entering Showroom we were immediately acknowledged. Our Sales Consultant was Iain. We were made very welcome and relaxed by Iain before going into details of the Part Exchange that we wanted. A very fair deal was made and we completed our purchase of a Vauxhall Corsa. Originally went into Vauxhall Great Central in Rugby for MOT. Ended up choosing a newer car. Everyone there was extremely friendly. Got a reasonable offer for my older Vauxhall Grandland . Then ended up with a Vauxhall Gradland hybrid. Extremely pleased with it. If you’re looking for a change definitely worthwhile calling in there. No pressure from sales team. From start to finish the process of buying a car, and part exchange of mine, was seamlessly managed. Iain accompanied me on a test drive of the new car, and took me through the controls, etc. He then inspected my car and offered a very reasonable p/x valuation. I had a corsa, 23 plate 1.2 as a courtesy car whilst my van was being repaired. Rapid little car, its not going to smash the roads at 120mph, but getting to 60, 70 is a breeze. Never had so much fun driving. Decent sound system, heated seats quick to heat up in cold weather too. I'm 6 foot tall, and had to have the seat fully back whilst driving, so if you are tall might be a bit of a struggle. Apart from that, its banging boook a test drive and buy one! ~ Robert F

Very helpful friendly staff. Even though I didn't book a test drive they went out of their way to get the vehicle out so I could, think they had to move four other cars so they could get it out of the showroom, thank you. Great service and now dont need to worry about my car with the extra I paid for peace of mind for service of my vehicle each year also the extra cover paid if car breaks it will be fixed as already paid for the service monthly. This was my first time buying a car via distant sale (remotely) as when I found the perfect 1.6t Astra I wanted on AutoTrader, I was also in the process of travelling for work (but needed a car so couldn't wait). Having contacted the dealer about the car, James Hammond helped answer questions, send me videos of the car, go through all my questions/concerns with patience (I had a lot of questions being the first time buying a car having not actually been to see it first...). On delivery of the car, it was immediately clear that James had been very transparent with everything he'd told me and, whilst there were a couple of concerns I had around the car, those concerns had been addressed/dealt with and wouldn't be problems. It's true that buying a used car via a dealer such as these may be a little pricier but in my case, it was absolutely worth it for the service and confidence this gave me. Had the car a week now and couldn't be happier. Whilst I don't live nearby so had never physically met James to thank him in person, the next time I want a new car/upgrade I may have to give him a call anyway! :) ~ Joshua S
